  • 40 cm circular needle (shorter than the cowl’s circumference) in your gauge size; a ; a tapestry needle.

27 stitches × 37 rows = 10 cm in the body stitch, after blocking.

152 stitches. Join in the round without twisting; place a beginning-of-round .

Work 15 rounds in 2×2 rib (*k2, p2*).

Next round, knit, adjusting the stitch count: k150, k2tog. You now have 151 stitches.

Knit every stitch for 63 rounds.
