  • Yarn: Rowan · Big Wool, about 250 m.
  • Straight needles (or a circular needle worked back and forth) in your gauge size; a tapestry needle.

8.3 stitches × 11.3 rows = 10 cm in the body stitch, after blocking.

Work 4 rows in garter stitch (knit every row) over all stitches.

Body

RS row: 3 sts in garter stitch, knit 16 sts, 3 sts in garter stitch. WS row: 3 sts in garter stitch, purl 16 sts, 3 sts in garter stitch. Repeat these 2 rows for 196 rows in all.

Top border

Work 4 rows in garter stitch (knit every row) over all stitches.
